Host Will Kacy keeps taking apart Project Fear, this month on roads. Texas will always need highways, and about half of its highway budget currently comes from federal sources, by the state comptroller's accounting. Kacy walks through the rest of it, the fuel taxes, registration fees, and sales tax revenue Texas already collects, and the moves the state has made to raise its own share, to show that keeping the roads paved is not the obstacle to independence the fear-mongers claim.
